In late June, Dr Carrie Madej, a long-term anti-vaxxer physician from Georgia, United States, released a video on YouTube that has been viewed more than 409,000 times, in which she mixed truths about mRNA vaccines, such as the fact that they are being studied in humans without having been first tested in animals, with outlandish theories.
Amidst the raging Covid pandemic, some have taken to saying no against vaccination. What drives them? Is it the fear of the unknown? Political, perhaps? Or the antithesis of truth itself in this age of social media - Misinformation?

You can expand on its function especially on how it is actually the first line of defense against pathogens such as viruses. The teachers can talk about why vaccination is still important even though our body is equipped with our own immune system.
Teachers may discuss more on the some of the probable reasons why anti-vaxxers are on the rise. They can touch on: (i) Mistrust of Science owing to profit-making pharmaceuticals scandals, or (ii) myths surrounding side effects through fearful anecdotes.
