E. Week 1: What to Expect

1. Instructions for Reporting on First Day of School - 3 Jan 2023, Tuesday

• Important information, including the form class your child/ward is allocated to and dismissal time, will be sent via Parents Gateway before the first day of school.

• Our school days commence at 8.00 am and students should report to school by 7.55 am. Your child/ward should report in full school uniform. However, your child/ward may report in his/her primary school uniform if he/she has yet to purchase the new school uniform.

• Your child/ward will also be able to check details of his/her form class on the first day of school upon arrival where there will be teachers and Student Councillors on-site to offer assistance to your child/ward as well as guide them to the assembly area and respective classrooms.

• Your child/ward will not need any textbooks or workbooks on the first week of school as we will be conducting our Start Right and orientation camp for the students.

2. Sec 1 Orientation Camp (Non-residential) - 5 Jan 2023, Thursday & 6 Jan 2023, Friday

• The school will be organising a Sec 1 Orientation Camp (Non-residential) held in school for two days on 5 Jan 2023, Thursday & 6 Jan 2023, Friday for all Secondary 1 students. (Note: Students will not be staying overnight for the camp.)

• Parents/Guardians will be receiving a notification via Parents Gateway for more information and to indicate their child's/ward's dietary requirements and medical conditions. Kindly indicate your response by 27 Dec 2022, Tuesday, 5pm.

• Students will be briefed on camp instructions and administrative matters (e.g. attire/items to bring etc.) on the first day of school.
