Reality and Fiction are grey areas that we all feel in the classroom. In my work, I wanted to blur the boundaries of reality and fiction especially with the use of social media. As a student leader myself, I struggled to identify real and fake friendships, I would have multiple followers, however behind the screen I only interact with a few friends. My generation live in a day and age where human relationships no longer derive from physical interactions, our interactions became heavily dependent on a digital platform. The juxtaposition of multiple interactions in an digital interface aims to highlight the use of social media that inflicted false friendships. Does social media define our social status? How do we identify real and fake friendships?
