Description of CCA

The Scouts CCA aims to inculcate discipline, leadership qualities, confidence and teamwork attributes through informal education processes at various formative stages of our young members.  Through our CCA, we aim to also develop the abilities of students to help them recognise their strengths, needs and values of others in different settings as well as learn to respect others and appreciate diversity in collaborative learning environments. Besides these skills, the CCA hopes to inculcate sound values and life-skills that will develop a person physically, intellectually and socially.

Students are involved in a range of interesting scouting activities such as hiking, camping, singing, games and first-aid, as well as activities to earn proficiency badges. Through these activities students are given opportunities to hone their responsible decision making, goal setting and organisational skills.
