In SJC, we seek to create a welcoming environment for students from all backgrounds, and build positive relationships between students, and with their teachers. Having this supportive community allows all students to thrive and meet challenges with courage, secure in the belief that they have a network of peers and trusted adults to help them achieve their personal goals.

School and Cohort Activities

Throughout the school year, activities are planned to develop positive character traits, create shared memories and foster school spirit. Cohort-wide activities are also catered to the girls' needs and interests according to the stage of their school journey:

Sec 1s - A Whole New World

Our Sec 1 girls traded their classrooms for three days of adventure and fun in the outdoors. From hiking, kayaking to outdoor cooking, the activities helped our girls grow in self-confidence and resilience.

Sec 2s - Time to Flourish

Sec 2 students learnt more about teamwork and creativity through a series of hands-on challenges in school and various places of interest around Singapore.

Sec 3s - Embracing Change

To help the Sec 3 students cope with the changes in Upper Secondary, the Sec 3 camp focused on team-building and resilience through an exciting 3D2N adventure in the outdoors.

Sec 4/5s - Lighting the Way

Aspirations Experience prepares our Sec 4/5 girls for their next steps after SJC - including learning journeys, games and interview skills workshops to help them reflect on their strengths and goals for the future.
