The Engineering and Tech Programme Scholarship (ETPS) is a STEM talent programme for Pre-U students with interest in and passion for applied and integrative STEM, which aims to:
attract students with strong foundations in mathematics and science, and with the inclination and interest to pursue tertiary studies and careers in engineering and technology areas, and
develop a strong pipeline of engineering and technology talent to lead and meet the current and future needs of Singapore’s economy and industries.
a week-long signature STEM workshop (this will be conducted by an Autonomous University between late December of the first year and mid-January of the second year of scholarship).
a work attachment/internship programme in either June or December of the second year of scholarship.
Scholars are strongly encouraged to participate in a hands-on engineering-related project or learning activity of their choice within the scholarship period. Some examples include the Engineering Innovation Challenge (EIC) and the Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF).
This e-portfolio template can facilitate keeping a record of relevant learning experiences, which will be useful when applying for undergraduate studies or attachments/internships.
