1. I am unable to attend the P1 Orientation on 12 Nov. Will I miss out on any important information?
You and your child are strongly encouraged to attend on 12 Nov. Your child will get to meet his/her teachers and classmates and participate in class activities. The school will share important school information with parents to prepare your child for Primary 1. However, if you are unable to attend the briefing, the school will upload the slides shared during the briefing on the school website.
2. How and when will I know my child’s P1 allocated class?
You may locate the class in Parents' Gateway under 'Contacts' from 1 Dec 2025 onwards.
3. How can I purchase school uniform and textbooks for my child?
You may refer to the booklist attached and the instructions and user guide for purchase of school uniform and textbooks.
4. When will the Name Tag (for school uniform and PE attire) be provided to the students?
The school will distribute a temporary name tag clip during the P1 Orientation. From the first day of school, P1 students are to put on the temporary name tag clips until the name tags for school uniform and PE attire is ready. Please ensure you have placed an order for the name tag by 1 December 2025 before school starts. It will be delivered to the school and distributed to the students in January to February 2026.
5. How do I register for School Bus?
You may contact our school bus transportation company Gan Brothers at 9424 1063 to register.
6. How do I register for the school-based Student Care?
You may contact Nascans@East Spring Primary Student Care Centre by emailing them at estscc@nascans.com.
7. I would like to apply for Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) for my child. How do I get my books & uniforms?
You may submit your FAS application form online here. Please do not purchase any books or uniform before you receive your FAS application result. We will inform you on the outcome of the FAS application.
8. How do I sign-up for Parents Gateway (PG) app?

9. How do I communicate with the teachers in school if my child is sick or absent from school?
You may communicate with our Form Teachers via communication platforms used (E.g. email) when school starts.
10. How many Primary 1 classes are there?
We will have 5 classes.
11. My child is taking Hindi language as his/her Mother-Tongue Language. How do I go about to register him and buy his/her books?
Please ensure that you have submitted the Mother-Tongue Language Form to the school and has received the approval for your child to take Hindi as the Mother Tongue Language. If you have not submitted, please contact the school at the mainline (67866192) or email to esps@moe.edu.sg.
If you have submitted the Mother-Tongue Language form and have received the approval letter from our school, you may proceed to register your child at the Hindi School Website: https://www.davschool.edu.sg/. The Hindi school will contact you for purchase of Hindi books.
12. My child has special learning needs. Who should I contact?
If your child is diagnosed with special learning needs, please contact our Special Needs Education Officers to discuss the support available for your child. You can reach them through the school’s main line (67866192) or via email esps@moe.edu.sg.
