• Identify the hypotenuse of any right-angled triangle.

• Formulate the equation to help solve any length of a right-angled triangle.

• formulate the equation for Pythagoras' Theorem

Always look through all examples in textbook before lesson.

Before using Pythagoras' Theorem, you need to ensure the following:

• Must be a right-angled triangle.

• Identify the hypotenuse side [ie: The longest side of the triangle or the side that is opposite the right angle.
