Funding Support for Singapore Citizen (SC) Students
The cost of the device bundle can be paid using your child's/ward’s Edusave account, after setting aside a provision for payment of second-tier miscellaneous fees.
MOE has provided Edusave top-ups of $200 in 2020, 2021 and 2022 to all eligible Singaporean students in primary and secondary schools. This is on top of the annual Edusave contribution of $290 for secondary students and $230 for primary students. Students who are Singapore citizens can use their Edusave to pay fully or partly for the PLD, after setting aside provision for payment of 2nd tier miscellaneous fees. Parents/Guardians can also choose to pay cash for the PLD.
Most students who are Singapore Citizens would have sufficient funds in the Edusave account after the top-up. Should the Edusave funds be insufficient, please top up the difference by cash and make payment to the school by 30 Jan 2026.
If you have an insufficient Edusave balance but have a GIRO arrangement with MOE, please keep the sufficient amount in your bank account for the GIRO deduction on 30 Jan 2026. If the GIRO deduction fails, please make the payment via Singpost SAM app, SAM kiosk, cash or cheque payable to Dunman Secondary School by 6 Feb 2026.
Modes of Payment
We encourage parents/guardians whose child/ward is not on GIRO arrangement to make payment for the PLD by 30 Jan 2026 via SingPost SAM app (which can downloaded via App Store and Google Play) or at any SAM kiosk. Please take a look at the printed guide for more information.
Alternatively, you may come to the General Office to pay by cash or cheque payable to Dunman Secondary School by 30 Jan 2026, 12:00 p.m. Please write your child’s/ward’s name and class on the back of the cheque.
