Funding Support for Singapore Citizen (SC) Students
The cost of the device bundle can be paid using your child’s Edusave account, after setting aside provision for payment of second-tier miscellaneous fees.
MOE has provided Edusave top-ups of $200 in 2020, 2021 and 2022 to all eligible Singaporean students in primary and secondary schools. This is on top of the annual Edusave contribution of $290 for secondary students and $230 for primary students. Students who are Singapore citizens can use their Edusave to pay fully or partly for the PLD, after setting aside provision for payment of 2nd tier miscellaneous fees. Parents/Guardians can also choose to pay cash for the PLD.
Most Singapore Citizen students would have sufficient funds in the Edusave account after the top-up. Should the Edusave funds be insufficient, please top up the difference by cash and pay by 31st Jan 2024.
If you have insufficient Edusave balance but have a GIRO arrangement with MOE, please keep sufficient amount in your bank account for the GIRO deduction on 6th Feb 2024. If the GIRO deduction fails, please make the payment via Singpost SAM app, SAM kiosk, cash or cheque payable to Dunman Secondary School by 8th Feb 2024.
Modes of Payment
We encourage parents whose child/ward are not on GIRO arrangement to make payment for the PLD by 31st Jan 2024 via SingPost SAM app ( which can downloaded via App Store and Google Play) or at any SAM kiosk. Please see printed guide.
Alternatively, you may come to the General Office to pay by cash or cheque payable to Dunman Secondary School by 31st Jan 2024, 12pm. Please write your child’s/ward’s name and class at the back of the cheque.
