Weighted Assessments (WAs)
We have scheduled termly WAs for students to obtain feedback, act on them and close learning gaps, while ensuring a manageable assessment load for students.
The WA scores form part of the computation of students’ overall subject results, together with the End-of-Year Examinations. WAs can take various modes, e.g. written class tests, quizzes, presentations, group projects.
Teachers also monitor and provide feedback on students’ progress throughout the year through various classroom strategies and assignments. We want to balance quality teaching and learning where students are engaged in the joy of learning with meaningful learning experiences.
Please refer to the document below for the weightings and scope assessment for Weighted Assessments (WAs). Students should approach your subject teachers if you require any clarification.
