Lift - upward force created by the wing
Weight - pull of gravity on the airplane’s mass
Thrust - force created by the airplane’s propeller or turbine engine
Drag - is the friction caused by the air flowing around the airplane
thrust > drag : airplane is accelerates
thrust < drag : airplane is decelerates
thrust = drag : airplane is at a constant velocity (speed)
lift > weight : airplane is climbing
lift < weight : airplane is descending
lift = weight : airplane is at a constant altitude (height)
