We took a small respite from the hustle and bustle of travel to admire the street culture of Jonker Street before moving onto other landmarks such as the Christ Church Melaka and St. Paul Church. Our tour guides shared many interesting facts about the places with us.
Christ Church, Malacca, is an 18th-century Dutch-built Anglican church (originally Dutch Reformed) in the city of Malacca City, Malaysia. Originally painted white, the church and neighbouring Stadthuys building were painted red in 1911, and this distinctive colour scheme has remained the hallmark of Malacca's Dutch-era buildings since. An absolutely stunning relic of the past, Saint Paul's Church is a historic church building in Malacca City, Malaysia, that was originally built from 1566 to 1590. It is the oldest European building east of India. It is located on the summit of St. Paul's Hill. (Source)
