What is this section about?
This section is where we will put notes and teaching slides for you on your Source Based Case Study and Structured Response Question Skills.
How does this help you?
These notes and teaching slides allow you to periodically review skills you have already learnt in class or for the Sec 4/5, skills you learnt in Sec 3.
How do I use it?
You can refer to these skills notes when you are doing practice papers or during lessons which require you to revisit these notes.
How do I know I have improved?
After reviewing the notes below, you can choose from the practice papers below to test your knowledge:
Pick one question from the paper from the skill you reviewed, e.g. you reviewed usefulness, you can choose an N or O Level paper and do only the usefulness question and pass to your teachers to mark, and/or;
After reviewing most/all skills, consider trying out Section A of one of the practice papers below, e.g. you reviewed all your skills, you can choose an N or O Level paper and complete the Section A and pass to your teachers to mark.
Pick one question from the paper from the skill you reviewed, e.g. you reviewed SRQ 6, you can choose an N or O Level paper and do only the SRQ 6 and pass to your teachers to mark, and/or;
After reviewing all skills, consider trying out Section B of one of the practice papers below, e.g. you reviewed all your skills, you can choose an N or O Level paper and complete the Section B and pass to your teachers to mark.
Check the feedback from your SS teacher. Approach him/her for further consultation if necessary.
Practice Papers:
Baseline: These are the actual N and O Level papers, this is the standard you should be working towards and achieving.
You can ask your SS teachers for other schools' papers and these will be given to you in hard copy or assigned via your Google Classroom.
