1) Students may be offered subjects at a higher level for English/Math/Science/Mother Tongue Language if they meet the following criteria:
2) Parents/Guardians will receive a notification via Parents Gateway on the day of release of Sec One posting results if your child is eligible.
3) Students can choose to accept or reject the offer via Parents Gateway (PG) or submit to the General Office by 27 Dec (Mon).
4) Students can proceed to purchase books for the subject(s) at a higher level upon accepting the offer. Students are not required to purchase the subject at the level that he/she is posted to.
For example, Student A is posted to Normal Academic (NA) stream and accepts the offer to do Maths subject at Express level. Student A will only need to purchase books for Maths subject at Express level.
MOE FAS
Applicable for Singaporean students only
Gross Household Income does not exceed S$2,750 per month; or per capita income does not exceed S$690 per month.

Please bring along the student’s School Smart card (see attached image for reference) so that school may activate the card for meal subsidies once the application is approved.

NOTE: If you have already applied for MOE FAS through your primary school, you may come to General Office to exchange the FAS Approval Letter from your Primary School for the FAS Approval Letter for Beatty Secondary.
School-based FAS
Applicable for Singaporean and Singapore Permanent Resident students
If you do not meet the MOE FAS criteria, you will automatically be considered for school-based FAS. You do not need to resubmit a new application form.
Higher Mother Tongue Language (HMTL)
1. Higher Mother Tongue Language (HMTL) is offered to Sec 1 students who meet the following school-based criteria:
Attained any grade in HMTL at the PSLE and
attained AL4 or better at PSLE
2. HMTL lessons will be conducted in our school during curriculum time.
