"Art for the Heart" Art Competition
In conjunction with World Heart Day (29 September), SHF is excited to invite all students residing in Singapore to showcase their creativity through an initiative, Art for the Heart, featuring traditional 2D artworks from 24 Jun 2024. Under the theme "Feed Your Heart, Nourish Your Art," we aim to inspire students to explore the impacts of healthy eating on heart health through their artistic expressions.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Unleash your inner creativity and channel it towards nurturing a healthier heart, one stroke at a time! We are calling for artists of all levels to participate in Art for the Heart 2024. This is your chance to let your creativity shine and win attractive prizes!
The theme for Art for the Heart 2024, “Feed Your Heart, Nourish Your Art”, advocates for the importance of heart-healthy eating habits through art. Participants are encouraged to create an artwork that aligns with this theme by showcasing the connection between nutritious food choices and a healthier heart. In addition, participants can creatively highlight how a well-balanced diet fuels both physical well-being and artistic expression.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Create an artwork that embodies the theme: Feed Your Heart, Nourish Your Art.
Write a short write-up about your artwork.
Upload them in the form here.
GUIDELINES
Art Mediums: All 2D art mediums except for the use of digital art/AI-generated artwork are permitted.
Size recommendations: All artworks must be done on an A4 or A3-sized paper/canvas.
Colouring Mediums: All colouring mediums are permitted (E.g. colour pencils, paints, crayons, etc.)
JUDGING CRITERIA
Relevancy to Theme
Effectiveness of the artwork in capturing the theme of eating well for a healthy heart.Information and Impact
Ability to convey the message about healthy eating and heart health through visual arts.Design and Visual Appeal
Effective use of colours and art elements/techniques.Compliance to Guidelines
Adherence to the contest rules and submission requirements.
