Signature Programmes

Bicultural Programme

As an SAP school, AHS strives to be at the forefront in nurturing students who are bicultural, confident and effective in communicating and interacting with the global community, in particular our Chinese counterparts. Our Anglican High Chinese Experience Programme is designed to provide each student a holistic four-year experience to learn the Chinese language, culture and values. Click here to find out more!

Chinese Language Elective Programme

We are honoured to be one of the first 9 schools in Singapore to offer the Chinese Language Elective Programme at Secondary Level (CLEP-Sec). Introduced by MOE in 2020, CLEP-Sec aims to nurture promising students to attain a high level of language proficiency in Chinese and to enhance their understanding of Chinese literature.

Creators' Programme

This is a three-year programme where students are exposed to minimally 50 hours of computational and design thinking.  It aims to equip students with technological skills, enabling them to have future-ready dispositions and become value-creators.

Our Sec One and Two students learn to code using micro:bits and also attend a weekly lesson on Artificial Intelligence. We will also be offering Computing as an 'O' level subject option, starting with the Sec 3s in 2023. Click here to find out more.

Critical Thinking

Anglican Critical Thinking Skills (ACTS) Curriculum is applied to all subjects. The ACTS Curriculum is unique as it not only improves the quality of thinking, it is also values-based. The virtue of making fair- minded decisions is impressed upon our students as they consider the different perspectives and implications before taking actions.  To know more about our curriculum, click here. Design Thinking

"Design is not just a job - it's a way of thinking. "  - Minister Lawrence Wong (Design Education Summit, 2021)

At AHS, we aim to develop innovative problem solvers through a three-year programme: i-SCoRe 1, i-SCoRe 2, and Sec 3 ACTSperience. Students learn to find solutions to problems with no pre-determined or 'correct' solution. Through our very own AHS Kickstarter Competition, our students are exposed to design principles and processes to help them think of novel solutions - creating value for others.

Talent Development

Learning is an adventure. Every child is unique.

At AHS, we seek to develop a diverse mix of talents who create value for others. The Talent Development programme aims to celebrate and grow talents through differentiated learning experiences. It takes reference from Treffinger’s Levels of Service approach to talent development programming.
