2026 Welcome Messages from Form Teachers
On Tue 20 Jan 2026 from 5 pm, we will be holding a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) for all Secondary One students and parents. We will be providing more details on PDLP and the procedure / forms to be filled in for buying the PLD. Details on the PTM will follow through Parent's Gateway when school starts.
In the meantime, please view the following slide deck for your prior information.
In the attachments below, you may access the Parents' Handbook on Learning with a PLD.
Offering of Higher Mother Tongue at Secondary One level
Starting from the Secondary One cohort in 2026, Higher Mother Tongue (HMT) eligibility will no longer depend on students' overall PSLE score. Students who achieve a PSLE Mother Tongue Language score of AL1 or AL2, or a HMTL score of Distinction or Merit, may take HMT from the beginning of Secondary One.
Eligible students will receive a letter of offer through Parents Gateway about 1-2 working days after the release of the posting results, which parents can use to accept the offer for their child to study Higher Mother Tongue.
You should not purchase any MT books for the subjects offered at a higher level until you have accepted the offer on Parent Gateway.
Application Outcome for 3rd Language (Chinese Special Programme / Malay Special Programme / Arabic / Bahasa Indonesia)
Students who have applied to study a 3rd language, please log in to Parents Gateway about 1-2 working days after the release of the posting results to check the outcome of the application.
Request for School Transfer to Yuhua Secondary School
All requests for school transfers into Yuhua Secondary School should be submitted online via the registration link. All applications must be submitted by 12 pm, 24December 2025.
Please note that all transfer requests will be placed on our waiting lists and only applicants of successful transfer requests will be contacted.
If you do not hear from the school by Fri 2 Jan 2026, we regret to inform that the appeal is unsuccessful.
2025 Cut-off points (COP) reflect the score of the last student posted to the school via S1 posting. COPs can vary up to a few points year-on-year, depending on factors such as cohort performance and choice patterns. Not every student who met the COP was posted to the school as they may have been tie-broken out.
