1. What time does school start?
School starts at 7.30 a.m. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday)
School starts at 8.25 a.m. on Wednesday.
2. What time does school end?
School typically ends by 3.35pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The CCA days are on Tuesdays (most CCAs) and Thursdays / Fridays (some CCAs).
School ends at 12:40 p.m. on Friday.
3. When are CCAs held during the week?
CCAs are held weekly on Tuesdays from 3.15 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Some CCAs will have additional sessions on Thursdays or Fridays, 2.30pm – 5pm, especially nearing competitions (e.g. Soccer, SYF and NSG).
4. What are some of the achievements of Yuhua Secondary’s CCAs?
Students from Yuhua Secondary do well across a range of CCAs. We are known to be traditional powerhouses in Volleyball and Concert Band, and achieve significant milestones across the range of CCAs. 5. What are the CCAs offered in Yuhua Secondary School?
Yuhua Secondary School offers 17 CCAs to meet the aspirations and interests of our students. We encourage parents to have a discussion with their children/wards about what CCA group they would be interested in.

6. What are the mother tongue languages offered in Yuhua Secondary?
We offer Chinese, Malay and Tamil languages, as well as Higher Chinese, Higher Malay and Higher Tamil within our school’s curriculum.
7. What type of Personal Learning Device (PLD) will my child be using in school?
The school has adopted the Apple iPad as the PLD for the school. Arrangements would be made for students to purchase the iPad bundle (iPad 11th Gen 10.9 inch with 128 GB storage, Logitech keyboard and casing with the Apple Pencil USB-C). The tentative price (based on 2025) is $857.00. Students who are Singapore Citizen can use their Edusave to pay partly or fully for the PLD.
