Management Meeting (16 March 2022): The school administrative team, led by Pn. Wan Noraida binti Wan Nordin, Principal of SMK Seri Saujana, along with En. Ramizu bin Ibrahim and the school counselor, Cik Rohazlina binti Yon, participated in the initial briefing session for the program held at Multimedia University. The introductory session organized by the organizers included a visit to the Smart Farming project site, where the participating schools were given a comprehensive overview of the project.
Paperwork Preparation: Documenting the necessary paperwork for the project.
Financial Allocation Proposal: Providing a suggested breakdown of financial requirements for the project.
Formation of Committees (4 April 2022): The establishment of initiatives and the formation of the Project Committee involved administrators, teachers from the Digital Innovation Club (coding team), and 16 students from 2 Angsana (boarding students of SMK Seri Saujana). The meeting took place in the Meeting Room of SMK Seri Saujana. The principal expressed their aspirations and hopes for the successful execution of the project, emphasizing the importance of following the planned framework to achieve the program's objectives.
Meeting with Committees (11 April 2022): SMK Seri Saujana actively participated in an online briefing session with MMU, aimed at establishing initiatives and targets in three areas of the Multimedia School Generation Program. The program's framework, including the scheduling of MMU-school touchpoints (school wishlist and MMU's planned visits to the school), ref. PowerPoint slide.
Project Implementation: Executing the planned activities for the project, including vegetable cultivation, plant care, ICT integration, and product processing and marketing.
Initiative Determination (17 June 2022): The project location has been identified in the front area of the SMK Seri Saujana dormitory block. The selection of this area aligns with the initiative of the SMK Seri Saujana dormitory to make this project one of the innovations pursued by the boarding students. Therefore, several requirements need to be implemented.
Arrival and Installation of HLT Planting Set (5 July 2022): The HLT planting set, which was ordered from Syarikat Petani Kota Sdn Bhd, arrived at the school at 9:30 AM. The company's staff members brought and installed the set, which included 40 pots, in the designated area. They also set up the water pond, pot placement structure, piping, and electrical wiring. The supplier conducted an informative session for the HLT Planting JK, explaining the planting procedures and how to use the HLT set. On that day, the Photography JK and Video JK were present for interviews and recording of the activities. Modifications were made to the electrical wiring, including the installation of additional switches.
Meeting with the Project Team (14 July 2022): An online discussion session was conducted between MMU representatives and the Coding/Programming JK to discuss the progress of the project and provide suggestions for the next steps, including finalizing the date for the MMU team's visit to the school.
Field Visit by MMU Smart Farming Team (15 September 2022): The field visit by the MMU Smart Farming team to SMK Seri Saujana took place with the aim of identifying the existing farming system, identifying issues, and providing suggestions for improvements to enhance the smart farming system. During the visit, the MMU team took note of the irrigation issues, particularly the malfunctioning water pump that caused stagnant water flow.

The initial harvest of the project was a success. All students and teachers involved were delighted and satisfied to see the results of their cultivation efforts, despite facing obstacles since it began in July. The preparation activities for the second round of planting were also carried out. The expertise of the teacher in the Horticulture and Landscaping Technology (HLT) Planting Committee, Cikgu Yusliza, greatly assisted in guiding the students through the second sowing process. For this round, only one type of seed, namely parkchoy, was used for the planting.

The vegetable growth rate this time is exceptionally healthy and meets expectations within a month's time. The growth rate ranges from 5 cm to 15 cm. There has also been growth in the red spinach plants, resulting from the first and second sowing activities carried out back in July. The second harvest of red spinach was conducted, and marketing activities were undertaken with a price set at RM2.00 per bundle.
The sale of 20 packs of mustard greens on October 28, 2022, generated a revenue of RM20.00.
8 Nov - 30 Nov 2022
The pakchoy vegetables grown from the second and third sowings are in excellent health and ready for harvesting. The growth rate is abundant, reaching heights between 6 cm to 19 cm. The fourth sowing was carried out by the HLT Planting Committee, ensuring continuous cultivation.
2 Dis - 17 Feb 2023
The growth rate of ParkChoy vegetables is robust, reaching a development range of 3 - 24 cm. The fourth harvest coincided with the recording of videos and interviews conducted by the Video and Photography Committee. The sales from the fourth batch amounted to RM110, managed by the Marketing Committee.
On February 17, 2023, a total of 23 packs were sold, amounting to RM115.00.
