Join me on an exciting journey as I explore the intricacies of implementing flipped learning in the classroom. Through multimedia elements like videos, images, and written reflections, you'll gain insights into the challenges and successes I encountered along the way. Witness firsthand the evolution of my pedagogical practice, and learn how I transformed my teaching style to better engage and inspire my students.
Example:
How many percent of the world population live in Europe, from the subtropical beaches of Monaco to the polar tundras of Norway?
How does the Northern Lights look like?
Where is the Colosseum in Rome located?
Who invented the theaters?
What can you see on the northern edges of Europe?
The word is civilization.
The strategies that I would use is by asking the students to list down the root word of the word "civilization". Then I would ask the students to look for the meaning of the word in the dictionary. Then, the students would work in group and construct 3 sentences using the word "civilization".
The word is amphitheater.
The solutions are the teacher need to provide a flashcard to show the picture amphitheater and encourage the students to look for the meaning of the word in the dictionary. Apart from that, teacher can plan or organize a flipped learning. Find out short video which focus on amphitheater on the YouTube and asks the pupils to study the video at home. Pupils list out the functions of the amphitheater and name the things they can see there.
