Day 2 - What I had learned?
Day 2 - What I had learned?
Today, it was an eye opener for me. The definition of PBL hits me. I was doing it wrongly before this! I was confused with PBL and project activity. I thought that when I asked my pupils to do mind map or poster or whatever it is on the 'mahjung' paper and then present it to their friends in front of the classroom, then it will be considered as PBL! Little that I know that PBL itself is a learning process, not the final product after a lesson. Now I know that PBL cannot be done in a lesson. It have to go through a few lessons or process to be completed and successgul/ The most important thing is, it is a student-centered method where teacher is the facilitator. This method encourages pupils to be more creative, to cooperate with others and may increase pupils' interest in gain knowledge. PBL also provides pupils the purpose of going to school, which is gain knowledge and experience!
