LANGUAGE BARRIER

Does language barrier still exist in this AI world? Do we really need to learn language to understand what people are talking to us? 

My thought, first of all,  what is the purpose of learning language? To communicate. Whether it is for educational purpose, or social purpose, it depends on the individual. Yes we have devices and tools that can help us in this AI world, but believe me, those tools and devices will not give you the same satisfaction you will gain if you master the language yourself.
