Digital Technology is a dynamic and hands-on course that introduces students to the essential technologies behind today’s smart systems. The course begins with the basics of electronics, teaching students how components like resistors, LEDs, and capacitors work together in circuits.
Students will explore sensors and actuators—devices that allow systems to detect and respond to their surroundings—through fun and practical projects. They’ll then dive into embedded systems, learning how to program microcontrollers to build their own smart devices.
The course also introduces the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), giving students a solid foundation in planning and managing tech projects. In the final stage, students will discover the Internet of Things (IoT), connecting sensors and devices to the cloud to create intelligent, data-driven solutions.
With real-world projects, coding, and teamwork, students will gain the skills to design and build digital systems—and prepare for exciting careers in technology and innovation.
