As someone who has been teaching for 23 years, I am aware that today's technology is rapidly developed in all fields including education. Therefore, I try to equip myself with knowledge related to technology so I can apply the use of technology in my teaching session.
Yes, incorporating technology into education is very helpful to save time and make lesson meaningful and interesting. As a teacher I am dedicated to providing my students with the best possible learning experience. It is important to ensure that technology serves to enhance rather than detract from the learning process. Ultimately, the thoughtful integration of technology in alignment with pedagogical goals can maximise student engagement, comprehension, and achievement.
Flipped classroom is a blended learning and the aim is to make pupils to be prepared before the face to face lesson. Teacher can ask pupils to read about the topic and to get some idea of what they are going to learn. By doing this, teacher can focus to do project based learning or hands on activities with the pupils. Pupils can applied what they have read at home.
Teacher can create videos or slides about the upcoming lesson and publish them in google classroom. Pupils login their google classroom and complete the task given by the teacher. This will ensure pupils to have the prior knowledge of what they are going to learn in the class. As for the teacher, we can focus to do the hands on activities.
