I currently teach Algebra 1 and Geometry in St. Louis, Missouri.

I first learned about the Modern Classrooms Project from the instructional coach at my school. She introduced it to me during the Fall Semester of 2020 when I was very ready to try something new. I fully implemented in January 2021. I became a Distinguished Modern Classroom Educator (DMCE) in February 2022 and a mentor in March 2022. 

One thing I love about MCP is how much more sustainable teaching feels because I know exactly where every student is. I have so much more time for small groups and relationship-building (my favorite aspects of teaching!).

When not at school, you can find me outdoors! I love everything outside (hiking, backpacking, hammocking, boating, or reading at a nice park).
