Leading a team of PR professionals
Through UTC's Public Relations Campaign program, I acted as the Account Manager for a five-month PR campaign for the Mary Walker Foundation. They are a non-profit organization striving to increase literacy rates and provide children and adults with new opportunities to further their knowledge. As the manager, I oversaw the projects of five public relations practitioners (Outreach Coordinator, Social Media Manager, Creative Director, and Videographer) as they played a crucial part in fulfilling the needs of the organization and its target audience while performing a host of other vital duties.
I conducted website edits: restructuring of the website, information updates, and brand changes
Created multipurpose logos and a new brand kit
Facilitated communication between team members, the director and board members of the organization, and the community it serves.
Planned and organized project schedules to adhere to the needs of the organization
Led proposal and growth presentations during pre- and post-campaign
