Dr. Z involves both graduate and undergraduate students in research through her Sexism, Workplace, and Gender (SWAG) Lab at UTC. Her ultimate goal is to teach students the art of research by mentoring them from the project development phase all the way through project completion via publication and/or presentation.


Research conducted by lab members are focused on (at least) one of the following topics:

In the workplace:

  • Performance Management

  • Sexual Harassment (identification, prevention)
  • Abuse/Abused Workers
  • Intersectionality

Out of the workplace:
