“Moqueca” is a traditional Brazilian sea food dish, which comes from the state of Bahia on the north- east coast of Brazil. “Moqueca de peixe” is a tropi- cal fish and shrimp stew, with garlic and pepper; enriched with dendê palm oil and coconut milk. “Pirão” is a side dish prepared with fish broth, thickened with yucca starch.
“Caldeirada” is a traditional Brazilian seafood stew, prepared with fish, shrimps, squid and mussels, enriched with different condiments, pepper and dendê palm oil.
