As part of the Erasmus+ activities, students from all partner countries participated in a videoconference where they presented their national and local environmental and climate policies, compared practices, and reflected on progress made toward the goals of the European Green Deal. They also explored examples of climate action from around the world and reviewed how climate-related topics are included (or missing) in their countries' education systems.
The workshop also focused on:
Youth participation in environmental policies and the role of youth NGOs,
The creation of a "Youth Climate Guide" outlining how young people can take action,
A "How to Be an Activist" Guide, which included case studies of influential environmental activists and effective methods of activism.
Students worked together to draft a letter of recommendation for COP28. Unfortunately, due to a mistake with the dates (we referred to the wrong year), the letter was not sent in time to the conference.
