Our aim was to increase the awareness of solid waste by using the different perspective and alternative message of art.
The students, who are divided into teams, will create sculptures made from solid waste. In this way, they will both reuse solid waste and learn to use art from a different perspective.
We did an online meeting to show the sculptures to the other teams, and theywere displayed in each school exhibition hall.
As part of the Erasmus+ project activities, each partner country created a video focusing on natural disasters that commonly affect their regions, as well as how waste is managed during and after such events.
The Turkish and the Italian team presented a video about earthquakes, highlighting their impact and the response systems in place.
The Spanish team focused on floods, specifically linking their video to the DANA event that occurred in November, discussing both the environmental impact and waste treatment processes involved.
The videos were shared and discussed during a joint videoconference between all partners, promoting awareness and encouraging students to reflect on how different regions face and manage environmental challenges.
