Develop a digital technologies outcome
In this course ākonga (students) will develop a digital technology outcome that addresses the requirements and specifications, and considers the end users. Testing, trialling, and user feedback will improve the digital outcome and ensure it is fit for purpose. Ākonga will create a website that users will use to find information about a topic.

Access to your website
To access your website via the server go to php.mmc.school.nz select 101COS, your name, practice
Remote access to your web files
To access your web files remotely (while at home or via your laptop) you need to download and install software such as Filezilla on Windows or CyberDuck for Mac.
Once Filezilla is installed and running:
Select File > Site Manager > New site >
Protocol: SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol
Host: php.mmc.school.nz
Port: 2222
User & Password: your school username & password
Click Connect

In this task, you will create a website to display information. You will work through the videos / PDF tutorials (and or other resources) to create your website. Please make sure you meet the time management goals per week to stay on track.
Create a folder called practice_92005 under your account in the W Drive
Make a copy of the Google slide template or evidence template (This should be open at all times as you are working through the videos to add 'progress' screenshots at regular intervals).

Access the Support files

Read through the assessment task and the marking schedule
Make a copy of Google slide template or evidence template and rename it 92005_yourname. This should be open at all times while you are working through the assessment to add 'progress' screenshots at regular intervals.
Upload your folder, called 92005_yourname which should contain the following:
PDF copy of your evidence template
All the files, and folders for the website. Due: Friday 4 April
Re-submissions of your work. The deadline for re-submissions is 7 days after you receive your feedback.
