S.L.A.M. stands for the Student Leadership Ambassadors of Maine.

What is the MLTI SLAM Show?

Live virtual presentations that highlight free online tools used for creative projects for students. Students can follow along during the live show or watch the recording later. Visit the episode ARCHIVE for a list of all the projects covered.

What is a SLAM Showcase?

Free, live in-person event hosted at your school that includes students, educators, and SLAMmers from around the state. For more information about SLAM Showcases, visit: http://sites.google.com/mlti.me/slam/showcase

Do students need a specific device to participate?

No, the free online tools shared in the show will work on any device with a modern browser.

When is the live SLAM show?

Thursday's at 11:00 AM

How do student join the live show?

Complete this FORM to sign up your students. They will join a Google Classroom that allows entry to the show.

How long are the lessons?

Shows run about 15-20 minutes, but the show length will be determined by the content presented.

Do students have to join the live event to start a SLAM club?

No, students can watch the recorded episodes and follow along with the lessons here: SlamShow.org.

Is the SLAM program limited to 7th-8th grade students?

Everyone is welcome, but the content and pace will be geared toward middle school students. You can view all previous episodes here: SlamShow.org
