Moses lake Air Force JROTC

Welcome to the Moses Lake School District Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.

  • Read what the Columbia Basin Herald has to report about our program. We held our first optional drill day on Wednesday, September 23rd. Following district and Grant County Health COVID guidelines, 18 students participated in an introduction to drill. Drill develops discipline and attendance to precision as cadets learn to execute their movements in crisp fashion. Photos courtesy of Columbia Basin Herald.

What is AFJROTC?

You might be asking yourself that very question. You might also be wondering, "What's in it for me?" First, let's look at what AFJROTC is. AFJROTC is a citizenship training program designed to educate and train high school students in citizenship, promote community service, instill personal responsibility, character, and self-discipline. You'll learn how to lead, follow, work as a team, and solve problems all while contributing to the improvement of your community. You'll meet amazing people, visit exciting places, be pushed to greater achievements than you thought possible, all while earning credit towards graduation.
