Approval must be obtained from the Department Supervisor, the Director of School Counseling, or the Principal prior to enrollment in any credit-bearing summer courses. 

1. Attendance Policy:

   • Courses taken for credit are required to meet for 120 class hours for a full year or 5 credit course  (60 hours for a semester or 2.5 credit course). 
     Students may not accrue more than 10 hours of absences and tardies combined.

2.  Grading Policy:

1. • Students must earn a final grade of at least 90%  in a pre-approved credit-bearing course to earn credit; however, the final grade will not be calculated into the student’s cumulative GPA. The grade posted will be a “P” for Pass.
     Credits earned will be included on the MLHS transcript.
