Take a look at some of the work produced by students in recent years:
Few people LOVE to speak publicly, but nearly EVERYONE will at some point have to do it. In fact, many people need to give presentations and speak to groups large and small as a daily part of their jobs. Public Speaking is a life-skill, and the ability to do it well can set you apart from others in the competitive world of academia and business.
Public Speaking is a class that is designed to nurture the hesitant speaker as well as further the abilities of students already familiar with the skills needed to speak in front of an audience. Students will learn how to craft and deliver speeches for a variety of purposes and audiences. This course will provide students with practical speaking skills for high school, college, and the workplace. They will develop a new kind of self-confidence that will grow, as they become more effective speakers.
