To support monitoring and evaluation of sutainability campaigns and initiatives at M'KIS, the Green Club and Eco-School Committee are working together with the school administration to begin tracking the school's environmental data.
So far, we are tracking the school's electricity consumption and the amount of paper used for photocopies by school department. This data has already been used to support authentic learning activities focused on energy and waste reduction and will support initiatives to reduce electricity use and photocopying school wide.
The charts below show monthly electricity usage at M'KIS. The first chart shows overall electricity usage per month.
