One of the most common things people experience is the feeling of re-living, or remembering trauma, this is referred to as a flashback.

Flashbacks and how to cope with them


Once you have some understanding of flashbacks you can learn how to manage them. Here are two ideas you can try:

  1. The flashback protocol will help you to deal with them as they happen.

  2. The Compassionate Acceptance Meditation will enable you to practice a skill you can use to lessen the impact of flashbacks.

Not all techniques work for everyone, so try them and see what works best for you.
