For all first sessions, I recommend a 1-hour booking to allow for a comprehensive physical assessment and review of your medical history.
However, please note that some cases are more complex and may require additional time.
To account for this, I may add an extra 10-15 minutes on top of the initial 1-hour booking - this would be added at no additional charge, but please ensure you block your calendar for 1hr 15 min for the first consultation.
I recommend bringing sports shorts and a T shirt - clothes that you feel comfortable moving in. The goal there is to make you comfortable with a physical assessment of your range of motion so that I can better understand where your body may need work in order to help you feel better.
Where it hurts is not always where the actual root cause of the problem is - this is why I look at the moving body as a whole, not just where it 'complains'.
You will be offered a towel for comfort during the hands on treatment.
Before your First Consultation you will be emailed a link to an Online Patient Form - it saves us time on the day, and gives you opportunity to share any background information you'd like to share or highlight before the treatment; I usually ask follow up questions when we met but the form helps me prepare ahead of the appointment.
Please note there is a waiting area on the ground floor and the 1st floor of the clinic, where you can make yourself comfortable when waiting.
Please note the TREATMENT ROOM is located on the FIRST FLOOR, and there is 1 flight of stairs to climb, so please let me know if you have a disability or an injury that prevents you from climbing stairs. In such a case, I would try and arrange for a ground floor room (early contact with me would be vital so that I can book appropriate space).
