Living Earth is the first of three courses in your high school science program. The course follows the Next Generation Science Standards and fulfills the Biology course within the science (D) subject requirement of the A-G state subject requirements. This covers concepts such as Ecology and Ecosystems Interactions, History of Earth’s Atmosphere, Evidence of Evolution, Inheritance of Traits, Structure, Function and Growth of Cells, and Ecosystem Stability. This course is inquiry based, involves problem solving and critical thinking.
