Advanced ceramics Course Information

Advanced Ceramics builds on skills learned in Ceramics1. In addition to more advanced hand building techniques, students will be introduced to beginning wheel throwing. Assignments are more challenging and students are encouraged to step it up a notch. If you are repeating ceramics advanced students continue to develop skills and their own ceramic art style. They will develop an area of focus and have input about the projects they choose to do. Students are required to keep a portfolio of their work that will include a personal artist statement.
