Bio: This is my third year working as a district school nurse in Marysville Joint Unified School District. My professional background is in nurse-midwifery, women's health and pediatrics. I am an advanced practice nurse with a master's of science in nursing. I love the diversity of our school population and my role as a public health nurse in this community. My husband is also pursuing a career in medicine and is in school full time. We live in Yuba City with our two children, Gracelyn, our three-year-old who has decided she wants to be a garbage man-ballerina-doctor when she grows up and our son, Asher who is a smiling almost-one-year-old. We also have a friendly, energetic black lab named Kona. In my free time I love to be outside in the sunshine, walk with my family and find new farmer's markets.

Bio: I am proud to call Marysville/Yuba City home since childhood. I am familiar with our local community, having attended Cordua, Foothill & Marysville High School. I went on to attend & graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science from CSU Sacramento & a license as a Registered Nurse. I continued my RN career, working as a Labor & Delivery Nurse for over 10 years at Fremont-Rideout Hospital, and many years as the "Charge Nurse". L&D is a fast-paced & exciting unit to work; resembling an "ER for pregnant" women! This background gave me the critical thinking skills, to judge situations & act independently; at times emergency deliveries were necessary, as well personally delivering around 100 babies that could not wait for the doctor to arrive! I married my best friend, whom has had a 21-year military career and we have two beautiful daughters Claudia (school aged) & Charlotte (a spirited toddler). My favorite coffee drink is a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks!

Bio: My background is as a bachelor’s prepared nurse from Chico State and a Yuba City local since 1969. I am now working hard on my school nurse credential from Fresno State. My world travels include three years as a military kid in Eritrea (formerly Ethiopia). I worked for 28 years at Fremont Hospital and 33 years as a registered nurse. I was a clinical manager for 16 years and have worked as your very own district nurse for the past four years! My nursery critical care skills gave me the opportunity to help many babies take their first breath! I am the proud parent of three adult kids and have five grandkids. My family is made complete by my five wild and fun-loving dogs. My favorite coffee shop treat is a large ice tea from Java Detour!
