Welcome to the 2020--2021 school year! I am so excited to be back at school! I have been a teacher in this district for 18 years, and I absolutely love serving students and watching them grow in their learning. I believe that all kids can learn, and I love to serve students in the ways they learn the best. We become a class family, in my room, where all can witness the tone of respect that each person displays in the classroom. I am so excited to get to partner with you to help bring your child to success. This year may be a combination of hybrid and traditional schooling, and I will be here to support you all the way.

Classroom Management

With practice and review of school procedures, students will have a clear understanding of what is expected of them. We want students to be

Respectful, Responsible, and Safe.

When students are disrespectful, irresponsible, or unsafe, they are given an opportunity to correct their behavior. If the poor behavior choices continue, a call home to parents will be made to help come up with a solution as a team. If it becomes a severe problem, our principal and assistant principal may become involved, as well.

My goal is to set clear expectations and to provide support for students to become successful citizens. This is achievable with daily practice, focus on character, and continued supports for students and their variety of needs.
