Counseling Program Data
This data reflects the direct counseling services, classroom lessons, student support, and collaboration provided throughout the school year. The school counseling program focuses on supporting students’ social-emotional well-being, problem-solving, coping skills, peer relationships, and overall school success.
While every effort is made to document counseling services consistently and accurately, the numbers shown do not fully capture the daily responsiveness and ongoing support that naturally occur within a school counseling program.
Many student interactions happen throughout the school day in ways that are difficult to formally track, including:
student drop-ins
brain breaks and emotional regulation support
playground conflict resolution
friendship mediation
classroom behavior support
teacher consultations
crisis response
check-ins between classes
support during transitions
on-the-spot SEL and behavior lessons
classroom coverage to support meetings and student needs
Because of the fast-paced, responsive nature of elementary school counseling, many meaningful student interactions and preventive supports occur outside scheduled services and may not be reflected in the totals shown above.
The counseling program remains focused on creating a safe, supportive, and connected school environment where students have access to emotional support, skill-building, problem-solving, and positive relationships throughout the school day.
