Week 1: The Solar System 🌍🚀
Students will explore the power of the sun with fun activities! Make a solar oven from a pizza box to melt s’mores, paint a vibrant sunburst with sponges, and craft a colorful sun catcher from tissue paper and plastic lids. Get moving with Sunbeam Tag, where the "sun" chases "planets," and dive into tech by animating the Sun’s movement using Scratch Jr to develop logical thinking and sequential skills.Â
Students will visit Miraikan to learn about the planets, moons, and space exploration.
Younger students will visit Asobimare for fun games and activities.

Week 2: Earth in Space 🌍🚀
Students will explore Earth’s place in space, learning about the forces of nature with hands-on fun! Build a mini volcano that erupts, paint a fiery lava flow, and craft a swirling tornado in a bottle. Play Lava Rock Hop by leaping between “islands,” then bring a volcanic eruption to life with Scratch Jr.Â
Students will visit Science and Technology Museum to see satellites, Earth observation technology, and weather tracking systems up close.
Younger students will visit Asobimare for fun games and activities.
Week 3 Activities: Stars, Galaxies, and the Universe ✨🌌
Blast off into the future of space exploration! Test materials for a DIY space suit, design their own space colony, and create a time capsule for future space travelers. Then, get moving with a Rocket Launch Challenge using stomp rockets!
Students will engage in exciting sports and movement activities inspired by space exploration.
Each day, they will visit a sports gym to participate in games and exercises themed around astronauts and space travel, including "Zero Gravity" obstacle courses, Meteor Dodgeball, Cosmic Relay Races, and Star Jumper challenges.Â
Students will visit Tamarokuto to explore how space travel affects the human body, and how sports may evolve in space. 🚀đźŚ
