Individuals of any age with less than perfect vision will encounter psychosocial challenges that need to be overcome if they wish to live a fully autonomous life. Challenges can be both internal, such as depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, and external, like attitudes, inaccessibility, over helping. This session will consider theories of adjustment and strategies that will help these individuals begin to find hope.
