smarter balanceD state testing

State tests in language arts and math for grades 3-8 and 11

What is Smarter BalanceD testing or SBAC?

Smarter Balanced testing in language arts and math occurs once each school year in the spring.  The test is proctored by our wonderful teachers and will be taken over 4-5 days depending on the grade level of your student and if they take CAST. We want students to be fresh each day, so they can do their best and not get testing fatigue. Testing in smaller increments will mean each session will be much shorter. The SBAC consists of four separate tests: 2 math tests and 2 language arts tests.
