Welcome to 2nd Grade Mission 2 Learn! My name is Monica Yerkes, and this is my 28th year of teaching. I have been with Mission Vista for the past 7 years, and spent many years in the classroom before that. Second graders are so much fun! I have been married to my wonderful husband for 22 years now, and we have three teenagers named Gianna, Dominic, and Ella, who keep us busy with sports and activities. I love to travel, hike, be in nature, read books, and spend time with my family. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and having a great year learning together!
