There are a total of 8 Learning Periods (LPs) throughout the year. We are required to meet a total of 4 in-person (2 per semester) and 4 virtually.
We will discuss progress and review work samples during each learning period. This is also a great time to answer your questions and reach out for extra support and resources.
Be prepared to share what your student is working on in each subject. We will also discuss the "I Can Statements" to help identify your child's learning goals for the following learning period.
The I Can Statements checklist is due each learning period. We will refer to the checklist during our LP meetings to review your student's progress. Checklists are located in the shared Google Drive folder.

One formal student work sample is required for each learning period to reflect the goals we have previously set for the learning period.
TK-8th Grade: Depending on the learning period, you will select your child's BEST work sample from math, ELA, science, or social studies to upload to the Google Form halfway through the period for auditing purposes. Please provide ONE work sample by the following due dates.
*The formal work sample requirement is NOT the same as the body of work requirement.
