Submitting your student attendance is very easy here at MVA! All attendance will be logged through the Parent Portal and archived each learning period. The learning periods (LPs) will be about every 20 school days. Final attendance with signature and date is due on the last day of the learning period.
We will meet to discuss progress, and review a body of work and work samples every 20 school days (about once a month). At each learning period meeting, we work together to identify which I Can Statements and learning goals your child will be learning during the next learning period. This is also a great time to get your questions answered and get extra support with your homeschooling journey.
You, the learning coach, and the students are both required to attend all meetings.
During our meeting, we will discuss the following:
Review & discuss your student's body of work completed for the current LP.
Review progress on Curriculum & I Can Statements selected for the current LP.
Please bring upcoming topics or learning goals you have planned for your students for the upcoming LP.
I am happy to help with any planning or questions you may have!
