Starting August 2014, the City of Menifee participates as part of the Riverside County Mortgage Credit Certificate Program (MCC) which entitles qualified home buyers to reduce the amount of their federal income tax liability by an amount equal to a portion of the interest paid during the year on a home mortgage. For additional information and to participate in the county’s MCC program, please contact the county at Riverside County Economic Development Agency Housing Division.

The City of Menifee offers 1-time grants (Minor Home Rehabilitation Grant Program) of up to $10,000 to eligible senior citizens, permanently disabled persons, or permanently disabled persons from the immediate family of the applicant residing full time in the residence, for eligible home repairs. No repayment is required. Additionally, income eligibility requirements apply (annual gross income cannot exceed 50% of County of Riverside Median income).
